Guidelines for Registration

Fees

Upon registration, a deposit is due in the amount of $50.00 for each Youth Camp or $500 for all Rental Groups. This is applied to the registration and secures a space for your camper or group.

The registration balance is due by the first day of each Youth Camp. This is an exception for Rental Groups.  Rental Group balance is due at the completion of your stay at Camp Challenge.

Some campers wish to have a small amount of spending money for snacks or souvenirs. Sending money with your camper is at your discretion.  You may choose to purchase a $10.00 HUB punch card at the time of registration or the first day of camp. We do not recommend campers keep money in the cabin, as we cannot be held responsible if it is missing.  Members of Rental Groups will need cash to purchase items from the HUB.

No discounts are allowed for late arrivals or early departures. Should our nurses or a local physician recommend withdrawal, the camp may choose to refund the un-expired term. No rebate is allowed in case of withdrawal or dismissal for reasons other than illness on the part of the camper.

Enrollment

Sessions at each camp max out around 65 campers. If a session is full, you may proceed with online registration to be added to the waiting list. Enrollment is conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Cabin Requests

Once a camper's registration is received, the camper is placed in the proper grouping and cabin according to school grade, age, and development.  Each camper is allowed one (1) cabin request of another camper they would like to be with. Every effort is made to place campers according to their cabin preference, but final placement is left up to the Camp Director.

Visitors

In order for your child to have the full experience of camp, we do not encourage parents to call or visit.  We ask that parents call to speak to their campers only in the case of an emergency.  Campers are seldom near a phone and it is challenging to coordinate calls and visits with the campers schedule.  In addition, visits and calls from parents can cause homesickness in a camper or jealousy among cabin mates.  We highly encourage cheerful letters, faxes or emails from family and friends throughout your campers session.  In case of an emergency please call the camp office and we will arrange for a time for your camper to return your call as soon as possible.

Take advantage of our eCamp.  eCamp provides parents peace of mind and a chance to feel like they are participating in camp.  Learn more NOW
